As a Manager Data & Technology, you will guide our tech team to translate abstract data into engaging stories and both usable and enjoyable experiences. You are responsible for the development of the team and the delivery of all our projects to our quality standards. You empower our tech teams to collaborate with our designers and clients to create projects with impact that help people understand the world around them.

CLEVER°FRANKE is an enthusiastic, multi-disciplinary team of 50+ people with 15 different nationalities from across the world and we use English as a primary language to communicate and collaborate. We are interaction designers, visual designers, developers, project managers, data analysts and others. All with a passion for what we do. As a Manager Data & Technology, you are passionate about technology, and enjoy working closely with your colleagues, clients, and end-users towards the best possible result for all. You help the tech team adapt their approach to new technologies, situations and projects. You help them leverage the best suitable tools and technologies to get the job done.
From day to day, you manage the tech team and coach the leads of the individual teams. In consultation with the tech leads, you create the technical outline for proposals and debriefs, and engage with potential clients to shape future projects. Together with your team, you’re an advisor to our clients. You're able to zoom out and keep track of the bigger picture of processes and projects, and are able to zoom in to spot important details. Together with the leads you shape our vision and approach towards technology, and ensure company plans are created and implemented. You are keen on utilizing and nurturing opportunities to collaborate with other teams in and outside C°F. You will also have the role of hiring manager, where you collaborate closely with the People & Culture Manager to assess the recruitment needs of our tech team and precisely define the profile of the ideal candidate.
WHAT YOU BRING
As a Manager Data & Technology you will bring at least 5+ years of work experience in the digital field. An innovative mindset and eagerness to explore new technologies. Next to that, you will bring:
Experience in coaching and managing teams, on project work and company / individual goals;
Knowledge and experience to balance commercial, team, and client interests;
Affinity for composing project teams and coaching team members;
Experience in providing strategic and technical guidance to both internal teams and clients in their technical decision-making processes;
Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal.
NICE TO HAVES:
Relevant experience in a digital agency (or similar);
Experience with managing data and information design projects (if you don't have this experience, we'll give you a crash course to get you up to speed);
Hands-on experience with web & software technology and ability to adapt to the ways of working to new developments in the field;
Comfortable and experienced with public speaking.
